So where do I begin?? It's been over three years since I've written anything here.

In the fall of 2005 my father was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma lung cancer. I lost my father in June of 2006. To this day I still have a lot of issues with what went on, but it's best that I don't say much here.

After the loss of my father I sold pretty much everything I owned and at the end of October, 2006 I packed up and went to central Florida to spend some time with the rest of my family.

Since then I've been back to northeast Texas twice to visit. Once for three weeks in October/November 2007, and for a hair over two months this year. I have to fly back on August 3rd. Don't get me wrong, Florida is nice but it's never felt like home to me. I guess you can take boy out of Texas but you can't take Texas out of the boy. I know that when I go back a big piece of me will still be here.

While I've been here visiting I've looked for computer work, but there's just nothing happening here. It'll be a while before I'll be able to permanently move back but I look forward to that day.

So what have I been doing while I've been in Florida? A whole lot of nothing for the most part. Peddling a few odds and ends on Ebay and such for money and doing a lot of reading and cooking.

And with that I think I'm going to hop off here for now.

So here I am again. Shocking isn't it? I decided to update my domain a bit since I hadn't touched it in ages. Didn't change the layout, but I added some info on a couple cars of mine. Go figure, but it's not like anyone reads this. I also added some "about me" stuff, and I plan on adding more as it comes to me.

Anyways, I should probably get back to working on this house plan I need to draw, so I'm out of here. Later gator...

Figured I'd make a useless post to see if the changes I made work. Someone comment? please?

Wow. It's been almost a year since I've written anything in this blog. Damn I can't believe it's been so long. One of these days I need to put some real content up on this site. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for a new layout and some content?

As always, it's been ages since I've done anything around here. However, today I was really bored so I added some info about my 1964 Ford Galaxie. Now you can read a bit of info about it and follow the progress as it gets bodywork and paint done to it.

In other news there isn't too much happening here. Fall has finally arrived in NE Texas and it feels nice.. not too hot, not too cold. A couple months back I purchased another '64 Galaxie for a few final parts I need for my car, mainly a Selectaire underdash A/C unit and most of the parts to make it work. I also pulled a few trim pieces that were better than the ones I already had. I've been selling off the other pieces of the car on Ebay and advertising on a few mailing lists. The trunk lid went to Orem, Utah, the steering gear and rear bumper are headed to North Carolina, and a spare front clip I had is now in Illinois. The latest parts to go are are the upper and lower control arms off the drivers side along with a piece of fender trim. They're going to the D/FW area in the next week or so if everything works out.

Well anyways I guess there isn't too much else happening so I'm out of here for now..

Whoa.. it's been quite a while since I've posted anything. There really isn't too much happening.. or shall I say nothing very exciting. Work is slow and I've been doing a bunch of work to my car in my spare time. I've got all the trim off of it and have started working on spots here and there. Right now the body shop is fairly busy but hopefully it'll be done within the next month if all goes well. I finally found a good color.. think it's gonna be Lexus SC430 red.. it's a really pretty color.

In other news I have two kittens now. They're about 8 weeks old or somewhere
there about. The mother cat had a whole litter and she abandoned these two so I've raised them. There's a gray female and a white male. The female kitty is named Dixie, and the male is named Chester! They're soo cute!! And playful!! :-)

Oh oh oh and I bought ANOTHER car. another '64 Galaxie. Got it last week sometime, but I've already sold it to a local guy who wants it and I'll get the money this weekend. I had originally planned to use it for parts for my XL but it's just way to clean too butcher and this guy wanted it in a bad way so I finally decided to sell it to him.

And lastly, I had visitors last month. My mother, sister, niece, and brothers came in for a week or so. We had a pretty good time believe it or not. My brothers, mother, and I went to Dallas to Fry's Electronics and bought some things, my brother Adam and I hung out quite a bit doing various things, and we even got some Corona's one night and sat around here drinking a few cold ones. Adam is supposed to be coming back here in a month or so to stay.. I think that'll actually be nice.

Well I think that pretty much sums up everything around here as of late. I really should work on this domain more but I've got another domain project I've been tied up on. check out http://www.jaysbodyshop.com, it's the domain of a friend of mine who also will be doing the work on my car.

And lastly, I just wanted to give a shout out to Meagan!! HARR! :-P

Well here I am at last, and once again it's been a while since I've posted anything in here but I've been keeping fairly busy lately. Anyways, I really just wanted to pop on and wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July holiday. :-)
